Making the Most of Your Member Benefits

Utilize the Member Compass and the Member Directory to make the most of your membership benefits with the Greater Fayetteville Apartment Association. As part of our member management software, Novi AMS, these features allow  you to quickly and conveniently manage your membership information. In addition, we've included answers to some Frequently Asked Questions below.   

The Member Compass

The Member Compass is where members can manage their membership information.  Upon logging into the website, you'll be redirected to the Member Compass. Update your individual information, company contact information, view membership activity such as event registrations, view and pay open invoices, and more.  

Access Levels:  Logged in users are able to see their personal Dashboard that displays their membership status, their transactions, event history, order history, and their own personal profile information.  You may also see information about your company, depending on your access level. 

  • If you are the Primary  Contact,Billing Contact, or have been granted Management Access  for your Company, you will be able to update Company information, including the contact information, updating custom fields, and adding or removing staff.  In addition, members with these permissions can see and pay transactions for the company and related contacts. Note: if your company name needs to be updated, please Contact Us for assistance. 

Dashboard:This serves as the home page for your Member Compass. Click this at any time to get back to this main screen. 

The dashboard displays timely information from GFAA, in addition to the number of open invoices and the number of upcoming events you’re registered for.  Note: If you're not registered for any events, and/or if you don't have any outstanding invoices, the corresponding information doesn't display. 

To pay open invoices, click on the Pay Balance tab. From here you can choose to pay your entire balance, overdue balance, or choose specific invoices. If you'd like to view past transactions or print reciepts, click on the Account History tab. This section shows detailed information on your invoice history. 

The My Events tab shows events that you are currently registered for. Use the Add to Calendar link to the right of the event name to add it to your calendar. You'll also be able to see a list of other upcoming events and past events on this page, if applicable. 

My Orders: If you've made a product purchase,  those orders will be shown here.  

To update your individual profile, select the Profile tab. From here, you can update your profile to include credentials, headshots, social media links, and other information. 

Use the Login & Password tab to update your login credentials, and Payment Methods to make changes to your saved payment methods (if applicable).

Company/Staff: Those with certain permissions can update the company’s online profile and staff. Updates made here are reflected in the member directory, so we encourage you to take this opportunity to the fullest by completing your directory profile!

The Member Directory

The Member Directory allows you to find and connect with other GFAA members.

Here are some of the features of the Membership Directory:  

Filter by Member Type: Filter by member type or Supplier Areas of Expertise. 

Search by Company or Individual name: Search by typing in just a few letters of a company’s or individual’s name. 

Be sure to update your company profile (in the Member Compass) - upload your company logo, add a description about your business, links to social media, and any other information you’d like to share with other GFAA members.

How do I join GFAA? View our membership information here.

How do I view and pay my invoices? In the member compass, view transactions that have been billed to you under Pay Balance and Accounting History. If you’re a Primary Contact, Billing Contact, or have management access, you’ll also be able to view transactions billed to the company and other related contacts. 

How can I tell if I registered for an event?  View your registrations in the My Events tab of the Member Compass to see events you are currently registered for, plus events you’ve previously attended.
